I bought this product to help in the creation of food but spent more time under my cabinet than in use. A.) This is a huge and cumbersome – there are more compact models there B.) It seems that the difference between the blades and grinders that forced a further decline in the hard to get food through. There are better food mills there. I would suggest one of the smaller mills that comes in the case. Both require a little elbow grease to work, but at least one small, compact and have a case.
I wanted something that puree soups without haul out a large food processor, and to clean up all the pieces fastidious later. This is a simple and easy to use and very easy to clean if you use too. I was unsure about the size of a small, but when I arrived I was very surprised that it has to be greater than at the hotel. I can fit this into my gar (6 QT) quite comfortably and safely seated in your very spot. The bonus is that it comes with 3 blades, and if you want small pieces soup – use the largest blade, it works great.
Sunbeam 2-qt. Food Mill This is a great gadget. This gives you a good workout! There are three different blades that do the different textures. Great unit! I recommend it!
I was wanting food mill for a while and then found this one. This is not terribly exciting model, but enough that at least, not to mention inexpensive. I use it all the time. Whenever I make mashed potatoes, I get to this at each time. This is definitely one of my favorite gadgets in the kitchen. Because I know that we will use the food mill in fairly often, pretty soon I'd like to get Oxo Food Mill. But if you are sure that you will use it often, it is the mill was a great starter.
I have this food mill for the production of baby food for my son. It worked great for a while, mainly mashing beans and potatoes. Then after 6 weeks may stopped working. The mill is not pushing any of the material than by the liquid. Now I have to buy another.
