These jars are inexpensive, but are also of poor quality. glass has the lines and defects, and the cover is metal with a sharp edge along the bottom that can feel like a slice a finger.
This set is great! I was looking for a way of nuts, seeds, dates, homemade almond milk and fresh juices in the refrigerator in containers that I can see through quickly grab what you need. The screw the lid on tight and glass containers are nice and light. To give you an idea of the size, the largest jar is approximately 10 1 / 2 inches tall with a lid and has a 3 lbs. almonds without a problem! I love the practical style set so that I bought two!
