These are great for me because I love to eat lunch with a glass of good wine, before I had to finish either the bottle or cork life back, which provided regular performance, you now have more wine for me to enjoy almost the same properties, of course it will not be from changing as we all know.
They work for me. The Foodsaver imstructions say that the bottle must be stored in an upright position in order to maintain a vacuum seal. Some complained about a leak but the bottle is usually stored in the upright position did not leak. They work great for me and my purposes — I want to keep the wine and oil, fresh after they're opened, and, with the stopper in place, the bottle happily sit on my pantry shelf, all sealed and protected until I want to use it again. My only peeve is that they fit only a narrow-necked bottles. They work in a bottle of wine and liquer, but not the bottle neck in the larger oil. Save empty bottles with narrow neck and move them to the oil company but Foodsaver me very happy, if it has larger size plug on the oil, juice and syrup bottles.
I am a big fan of the foodsaver and any additional accessories. Bottle Stoppers great job on the bottles of wine. It's like a new bottle of wine every time!
FoodSaver T03-0024-01 Bottle Stoppers, 3-Pack (purchased 08/29/2008) The product has been adopted quickly! It's a brand-name products, and it was completely new. It was purchased to give as part of Christmas. So I can not review the product. I was very happy with the speed of movement.
I love my FoodSaver V2490 vacuum bagging and sealing of the food. But these are different matters. None of the three wine bottles, hold a vacuum for 10 minutes let alone a few days. One star is too much.
