Generally speaking, FOODSAVER sound system and well designed except for the canisters, which often crack. Many of us have urged Tilia update plastic canisters, and so far they have refused. I do not place the canisters in the dishwasher, and even difficult to use chemicals. One can cracked under pressure, on the shelf after a few weeks with no carried forward. Tilia You will be advised that there is NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND their canisters, which speaks volumes about how their own products. Tilia blames its customers for cracks. I am sincerely sorry I did not hear the warning read by consumers prior to purchase Amazon. Usually depends on the customer's Amazon recommendations for all of my purchases. I have spent a lot of money on accessories and Tilia am currently looking for another brand. Hope this helps, Ron
We have this moment back and love it. It works great for marinating, other than top-of-the-line steaks (who wants to break with a good steak marinade?), Pork chops, chicken, country-style ribs. I love to stick in my chicken breast with 1 / 2 a container of water and seasonings to the buch. Two hours later breast throw on grill and yummy! The tender, juicy taste in so that you do not need to add sauce. Also great for jerky – marinading meat first so much flavor vs. wet just before it starts drying. This is my favorite accessory for Food Saver. I'd say is that someone must be grate!
Great, but in reality it was a bust. Do you have a marinate my food before grilling. First, wash hands Rubber seals around the rim out, it absolutely can not get in and STAY in. refused to create a tight seal. Used only once. Thought I had a "lemon", so I bought another. Worse yet. This time, the rubber gaskets "grew" and could not put it on the rim properly, regardless of what we tried. Finally got it and began sealing. The machine turned off if the seal is complete. Turn head to keep tight seal, remove the tube, seal broken. Over and Over various combinations. DON "T WASTE YOUR MONEY! FoodSaver Quick Marinator 2-1/4-Quart Square Canister (Colors will vary)
Marinator It woks very well, it's the right size for what use it. It is easy to use. The times we have the meat comes out tender and tasty. The marinades in half the time too.
