Works great. Very sensitive and precise. Easy to use and is well made. It is made of cast iron though. This is just a matter of color.

  2. Zeshawn says:

I love this scale. This allows the full weight of 5000 grams to 2000 grams, instead of the weight limit available in the majority of the rock. I use a scale to track the weight of my animals and play a higher limit really helps. I love the fact that the weight in grams and pounds, and easily see what object is weighed 3000 grams in pounds from just press the button. This is a small design allows it to be easily stored, but the display is large enough to easily read.

  3. Orea says:

This is a large-scale, reliable and easy to use. The display is hard to read, if something big in scale, but not often a problem. My boyfriend insisted that the scale was needed in the kitchen, and he uses it all the time now. I mainly use it to weigh packages and track the weight of small animals. Others said the base is made of plastic, "black iron" is the color of the scale, not a description of the material. If you're not going to look at other colors of this scale are equally silly names such as "lily green and roasted tomato," is only slightly more obvious that these things do not scale can be made.

  4. Baback says:

OK. I'ma sucker for pretty utilitarian looking things. I guess that's truly oxymoron, but I still fall for it. I love this scale. I use it mainly for the dyeing and knitting purposes. After I've knit a bracelet I weigh, and the rest of my yarn ball to see if I have enough to finish! It is so useful things for it! Plus on a scale is necessary to dye wool. Which I love to do. Five stars including what to do and actually use instead of sitting in my studio gathering dust!

  5. Kael says:

At the beginning, really nice ones. Glass bowl is good looking, the scale is accurate and precise. However, calling it "Iron" is a misnomer. This is not made of iron, it does not look anything like the iron, and certainly does not weigh anything like iron. This is really my all, economies of scale. This is a really light black plastic and easy to chip, nor does it have enough weight to really hold it in place on slick counter top. If I had known the base material, it could be a different scale.
