My family owns a Cuisinart food for over 25 years! We never had any problems with any of the models. I bought one for my mother, when retired. There was ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with the original Cuisinart Food Processor (about 20 years old), but I wanted it to new one. And if you need replacement parts (because of the darn thing just giving out) there is a website that offers all the parts you can possibly need. We just have to order from them once and that was because of the end gave up! This Cuisinart and another with a different color were recently purchased by two of my nieces. Almost every household in our family, at least a Cuisinart Food Processor! You pay for what you have!
